I just wanted to say I love your bassoons. I played on serial number 002. It was a beautiful piece of mahogany and played such sweet music. I am fortunate enough to have played on it. The new bassoon bocal is a big change. It out plays my Heckel bocal by a significant amount, and it also is far better than the bocal used by the guy I play with who has a 1967 vintage Heckel bassoon and bocal. I was surprised that it worked so well on his bassoon. He, too, was quite shocked! It really solves many of my instrument's problems above ...
