Our leather bassoon pads are custom made for us in Italy by the recognized leader in woodwind instrument pads.  We provide two styles of pads: special leather and waterproof leather.  We stock a full range of sizes from 7mm to 40mm that cover the needs for all bassoons and contras.  The pads we sell are the same we use in production. 

Whisper Key Pads:  We are often asked for "whisper key pads."  There is no universal pad size for whisper keys.  Fox and Renard bassoons from approximately serial number 17,000 on use 12mm pads in the whisper key.  Prior to that 11.5mm pads were used.  The earliest Fox bassoons used 10mm pads.  We also use an oval pad on models 601 and 660.  That oval pad is 11mm wide by 15mm long. 

Pricing:  Pricing is broken down by both size and quantity.  Our pads are sold in quantities of each, dozen and hundred.
