These cork caps are used to cover the tenons while the instrument is in its case. They prevent fuzz from the case getting onto the cork, and grease from the cork messing up the case. The set provides for both the middle tenon and the bell tenon of the instrument. The caps are made of grenadilla. These come standard with our Fox models 800, 400, 450 and 300 oboes. |
