The Fox Double Star *CVC* Bocal was created specifically for use with thick wall style bassoons.  This includes Fox model 601 and 660 bassoons as well as most Heckel bassoons made in the last five decades. They are not recommended for standard wall style bassoons.

Fox *CTC* bocals are available in lengths 0 through 4, with #0 being the shortest length.  Lengths #1, #2 and #3 are considered the "normal" lengths.

The standard plating is silver,  Nickel  plating is also available.  Gold plating is available on special order.

*CTC* bocals are made with a nickel silver tube.  They can also be made with brass tubes on special order.
