Fox customers are entitled to a complete servicing of their new Fox or Renard instruments after break-in within one year of purchase, with the customer's cost to be limited to parts and shipping charges.  This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.

Guaranteed Bassoon Intonation

Most long bore Fox and Renard bassoons are guaranteed to have the center of tone of all notes within three cents of their vibrational specifications when played with a compatible reed, based on A-440 at 72°F, however, the model 660 is based on A-442 at 72°F. The guarantee is limited to engineering and key adjustment, with performance to be established with a stroboscope by any member of our factory tuning staff, or by a competent bassoonist of mutual acceptance to the customer and factory. The above statements are in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.

Unauthorized Alterations

All warranties shall be considered void if alterations are made to the tuning, or if alterations are made to the mechanism beyond normal repair procedures.
